With the powerful front line of saxophonists Jackie McLean and Frank Mitchell, Morgan charges through a variety of tunes with power and panache. "Psychedelic" and Cedar Walton's "Afreaka" are particularly popular on the club scene. Added to the original LP are three tunes from a previously unissued session with Harold Mabern substituting for Cedar Walton.
