Saxophonist Wayne Shorter & trumpeter Terence Blanchard will go head-to-head in the Best Imrpovised Jazz Solo category at the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on “GRAMMY Sunday,” January 26, 2014. Shorter was nominated for his solo on “Orbits” from his album WITHOUT A NET, while Blanchard was nominated for his solo on “Don’t Run” from the album MAGNETIC.
